Cost Data Entry Form - Parameters Page
The Parameters page of the Cost Data Entry form provides two different functions: identification field entry and cost performance calculations.
An identification field is a non-numeric field which can be used to identify individual cost items.
Identification fields are defined by you. There are no default identification fields. Typical examples of identification fields might be ‘Task Manager’ or ‘Responsible Organization’. You can have up to 16 such fields.
Any fields which you have defined will appear on the Parameters page. Enter data into them as required. There is no need to fill in a field if it is not required in a particular instance.
Cost Performance Calculations
Cost performance calculations are used to assess how well a cost item is performing with regard to its planned budget. This topic is dealt with elsewhere.
